IAONZ Board Members
The following are our current board members

Paul Thomson
Paul is Director of Inzone Industries / Brightr and has been an active member of IAONZ (including on the committee) and the wider industry for many years.
Inzone are a manufacturer of polyester products in NZ, producing Mammoth polyester insulation under Insulpro Manufacturing Ltd, and has an installation network under Smart Energy Solutions throughout NZ. Inzone has also provided technical resource to IAONZ over the years.

Chris Kenny
Chris is the National Sales & Marketing Manager for CSR Building Products NZ. CSR Building Products NZ manufactures, markets & distributes Bradford Insulation alongside other key CSR building product brands & systems

Sumaria Beaton
Sumaria Beaton has been the main lead and driver of Awarua Synergy based in Invercargill Southland. Awarua Synergy began 16 years ago as a Marae hapu based social enterprise based at Te Rau Aroha Marae in Bluff and expanded the business delivering all over Southland now based in Invercargill. Sumaria is passionate about education and recently produced Hauora Homes training for Whanau ora navigators on the importance of insulation and energy efficiency.

Anthony Stone
Anthony leads Comfortech NZ which is a subsidy of Fletcher building. He has a significant interest in growing the wider industry and supporting installers particularly given the size of the Pink Fit brand. Anthony is open minded, focused on wider industry development and collaborative as demonstrated during his current tenure on the IAONZ Executive.

Sonny is Managing Director at Rodney Insulation in Auckland

Wade Maurice
Wade has worked in the insulation sector since 2008 and is General Manager of Safe-R Insulation (NZ) Ltd, supporting a nationwide network with products, technical expertise, and sales support. His background spans the construction industries in both New Zealand and the UK. Wade has contributed to the development of NZS 4246 and the recent H1 Building Code update. He served on the IAONZ committee for 10 years and is a former IAONZ President.
