Myth Vs Fact: Overheating in some New Zealand homes is caused by “too much insulation”.

For some reason, people think that insulation creates heat. Not true; insulation is designed to reduce heat flow from hot to cold. Ideal for keeping a house warm in winter, and cool in the summer. Once heat enters your house in summer, there needs to be good methods to remove that heat. Removing insulation is not the answer.
